Export balance shrinks

After several weaker months in terms of exports, Bulgaria's balance sheet from the beginning of the year to May already stands at minus 0.2% compared to the same period last year.

Thus, for the first time since Covid erupted, Bulgarian exports are not growing, and are even less compared to the same period last year, based on annual cumulative data. Previously, there were just particular months in which the statistics recorded drops. Current data shows that the slowdown is already more marked.

The difference comes from goods such as fuels, electricity, oils and fats - the same ones were responsible for the record hike last year.

Vazrazhdane are the most 'outspoken' in parliament

The data show that in the 48th parliament GERB, WCC and Vazrazhdane spoke the most.

Two dead after migrants crash

An SUV with a group of illegal migrants crashed on the Trakia highway near the Yambol village of Drazevo resulting in two casualties. The reason for the accident is still unclear, according to the Regional Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs..

According to news sources 11 were injured and were admitted to the hospitals in Yambol and Sliven. The driver escaped but later was found and identified as a Syrian citizen.
