Dobrev demands that GERB appoint ministers next time
GERB MP Delyan Dobrev has called for a complete change of personnel in the government after the upcoming rotation. He is demanding that all future ministers should be nominated by his party, since the cabinet, currently led by Nikolay Denkov and WCC-DB, has, in his opinion, failed to implement proper policies to date.
Dobrev is a longstanding critic of the financial policies of Assen Vassilev and a key figure in the energy commision in parliament.
NRA taps companies over inventories
Nearly 7,000 companies have been issued with warning letters from the National Revenue Agency over extremely high inventories valued at a total of 5.6 billion levs. Their accounting balance sheets for 2022 assume a significant increase in stocked goods, materials and production.
More than half of the companies have already received such letters, but continue to maintain material stocks of significant value. According to tax inspectors, it is possible that some of these goods have long been sold under the table or are missing for other reasons.
Companies are required to undertake an inventory once a year, as well as submit a corrective statement if there is a discrepancy between the actual stock in the warehouse and the accounting data.
