Vazrazhdane demands no-confidence vote against Zhelyazkov's government
Vazrazhdane has prepared the grounds for a third no-confidence vote against the government of Rosen Zhelyazkov, citing failure in financial policy, according to MP Tsoncho Ganev. After meeting only with the Velichie party, who insisted the vote should focus on environmental failures due to illegal landfills, the two groups agreed to support whichever no-confidence motion gathers enough backing.
MECH did not attend the talks, suggesting they wouldn't support the initiative. But MRF-MRF (Ahmed Dogan's faction) stated it will not help submit the motion but may participate in the vote. This means that this time there is a possibility not to gather the necessary support for a third vote of no confidence. According to the rules, at least 48 signatures are needed to table it, and Velichie and Vazrazhdane only have 43 MPs.
