Inspection begins at Kozloduy NPP over financial violations
Energy Minister Zhecho Stankov has ordered an inspection at Kozloduy NPP, the Ministry of Energy announced earlier today.
The reason for the inspection is a report filed with the prosecutor's office and the State Agency for National Security regarding suspicions of "abuses and financial violations in the activities of the nuclear power plant". It is added that experts from the department, together with representatives of the Bulgarian Energy Holding, will conduct an extraordinary inspection of Kozloduy NPP beginning next week.

Temperatures to rise on Monday
The weekend will be sunny but cold, and warming up is expected to begin on Monday, climatologists predict after the last couple of days marked code yellow for all regions in Bulgaria. Yesterday, due to the extreme cold, a locomotive's brakes failed to stop and crashed into a train and six people were injured.
The last days of February and the first days of March will be typically spring-like - sunny and with positive temperatures. No new snowfalls are expected during this period.
