Sofia City Court refuses to remove Peevski as MRF chairman
Sofia City Court has rejected a call to officially change the leadership of the MRF, as had been requested by Ahmed Dogan's faction, and expel Delyan Peevski from the party. The decision is not final and can be appealed to the Supreme Court of Cassation.
The court stated that Peevski is a member of the Central Operational Bureau (COB) and the Central Council and, as chairman, should have been removed by a higher-ranking body. In this case, the court determined that this would be the National Conference.
Peevski was expelled in August at the request of honorary MRF chairman Ahmed Dogan by the Operational Bureau. However, according to the court, "the COB is not competent to decide on the expulsion of an individual as a party member or on the termination of their powers."

Several key flight corridors between Europe and the Middle East pass over Bulgaria.
Garbage trucks in Sofia will be monitored with GPS and weight sensors
A system for monitoring and controlling garbage collection trucks in Sofia will be implemented in 2025. This is one of the key updates in the city's cleaning budget plan, approved today by Sofia Municipal Council. A total of 7.7 million levs from the budget of the Sofia Inspectorate will be allocated specifically for this activity-to oversee the garbage collection companies.
The total cleaning budget plan amounts to 302.19 million levs, announced co-sponsor and Deputy Mayor for Environment Nadezhda Bobcheva. This is a 5.7% increase compared to the unapproved plan for this year, which was delayed due to the postponed election of the Sofia Municipal Council chairman last winter. As a result, the municipality has been operating with the 2022 cleaning budget, which was 237 million leva.
