Poll points to seven factions in next parliament
If elections were held today, seven parties would enter Bulgaria's 51st Parliament, according to a recent Market Links poll.
GERB remains in front with 24% support, followed by We Continue the Change - Democratic Bulgaria at 14.1%, and the pro-Russian Vazrazhdane at 13.1%.
The survey, conducted in mid-October, reveals a narrowing gap between the two MRF factions-one led by Delyan Peevski and the other by Ahmed Dogan. The poll also suggests that There Is Such a People will likely clear the electoral threshold, despite previous soundings indicating otherwise.
As election day approaches, the role of the protest vote, voter indecision, and concerns over vote-buying are expected to significantly influence the final result.
UBB launches savings feature for new investors
United Bulgarian Bank (UBB) has introduced an investment feature in its mobile app, whereby spare change from payments is rounded up and saved for future investment in mutual funds.
The service, called InResto, targets users with little to no prior investment experience, encouraging them to invest gradually. When small amounts, such as rounding up a bill to the nearest lev, accumulate to 10 levs, they are automatically invested in a mutual fund.
Customers can opt for a "turbo" mode to multiply the rounded amounts, accelerating their savings. The funds are invested in the conservative "UBB Expertise" fund, designed to simplify the investment process for beginners, with a focus on long-term financial growth.

Bulgaria's Economic Police have started questioning individuals who purchased tickets for the film Historical Park - The Kingdom of the Liberator created by vlogger Lyubomir Zhechev. The investigation was initiated following a complaint by Historical Park, accusing Zhechev of financial fraud for using the park's name in the film's title and selling tickets.
The complaint claims that ticket buyers may have believed their money was being invested in or donated to the park. The film itself investigates allegations that Historical Park is a Ponzi scheme and a pyramid scheme that lures people into taking credit from banks and other sources worth upwards of tens of thousands of levs for zero to no return, a claim denied by the park's representatives.
Police have reportedly contacted at least three individuals, seeking explanations about their ticket purchases and knowledge of the film's production.
