BSP excludes MP after row over military aid to Ukraine
BSP excluded MP Yavor Bozhankov on Friday from its parliamentary group over his support for sending military aid to Ukraine.The topic, discussed by MP's today, led to a decision to send arms to the front.
Bozhankov, who is known to be a loose cannon in the BSP, told parliament that he believed that Russia was the aggressor in the war. This enraged other BSP members because the party has advocated that Bulgaria should stay neutral.
Kozloduy NPP has to be repaired again
A month after the end of the planned repair of the 6th unit of the Kozloduy NPP, which was accompanied by a one-week delay, an accident has occurred again in the nuclear plant.
On December 10, one of the units will have to shut down due to a coolant leak in the third steam generator. The incident itself is major and could lead to radioactive steam leaking if not properly repaired.
The plant will only be working to half capacity over the next month, raising questions over what will happen in the event of severe cold and heightened consumption.
Schneider wins Factory of Year contest
The first ever Factory of the Year competition, organized by Kapital, has been won by circuit breaker manufacturer Schneider Electric Bulgaria. The factory's revenue is BGN 254 million and together with the headquarters in Sofia, the company employs 9000 people.
The most innovative project of 2022 category was won by Sensata Technologies Bulgaria which is developed solely by a Bulgarian team of experts.
