Bulgaria pulls out of dark red Covid zone

"The epidemic situation in the country is improving on all counts - new infections, hospitalizations, and deaths. Bulgaria is on its way out of the dark-red Covid-19 incidence rate zone", said Health Minister Stoycho Katsarov today. He claims this is due to the Covid restrictions, including a green certificate. New solar project in Tenevo between Bulgarian investment group and Danish developer

Bulgarian investment group Renalfa and Danish renewable energy developer Euro wind Energy have set up EURA Energy, a co-owned joint venture company aimed at the Bulgarian renewable energy market, the two companies announced.

The new company aims to realize its first solar project in South-Eastern Bulgaria, in Tenevo village. The construction of Tenevo Solar Park, which will have a capacity of over 200 MWp, is planned for the first quarter of 2023, reported See News.

Cargo Transported in Third Quarter up 10.2% Q/Q

In the third quarter of 2021, cargo carried in the freight transport sector grew by 10.2% compared to the second quarter of 2021, while the work accomplished decreased by 1%, according to seasonally adjusted data from the National Statistical Institute. In terms of passenger transport (land, water), the number of passengers and the amount of work accomplished increased by 3.5 % and 1.3%, respectively. According to preliminary data during the third quarter of 2021, there was an increase, both in the goods carried (by 13.7%) and in the transport performance (by 2.0%) by freight land and water transport in comparison with the same period of 2020.
