Vladimir Kavalov

During the years he has been working as a system administrator, information security expert, head of IT department and IT auditor. Vladimir is strongly interested in IT, especially in development, deployment, auditing and consulting. He has led important projects regarding realization of migration and implementation of ERP systems, MS Active Directory deployment. He has also implemented solutions related to management and monitoring of IT systems, processes and information security. He has been a member of the ISACA Sofia Chapter since 2008, elected as a member of the Board in 2015 and has served as President since October 2016.

Jenny Boneva has more than 12 years of experience in the areas of Information Technologies and Information Security, IT Audit and Compliance, Data Protection and IT Governance. Her career started as IT consultant/ Advisor and Auditor in one of the Big 4 leading firms in the accounting and consulting industry. Later, she focused her professional development on Information Security in the financial sector. She manages worldwide recognized certificates CISA issued by ISACA (Information Systems Audit and Control Association) in the area of audit, control, monitor and assess an organization’s information technology and business systems and CISSP certificate issued by ISC2 (International Information System Security Certification Consortium) focused on Information Security. Additionally, she has certificates related to the areas of Cybersecurity and Computer Forensics. Currently, she is Vice president and Chairwoman of Membership Committee of ISACA – Sofia Chapter.

Nikola Nyagolov

Mr. Nyagolov is Principal Consultant, ITNL Bulgaria. He is certified Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified in Governance of Enterprise IT (CGEIT) and Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA). He has extensive hands-on and leadership experience in the areas of IT strategy, system integration, databases and application systems development, implementation, compliance and audit. He has led technology and operations projects in international and local organizations in the telecommunication, energy and utilities, industrial and financial sector. His assignments cover the areas of economics of IT, technology integration and advisory, business and technology architecture, IT organization and structuring, systems’ reviews and cybersecurity.

Kaloyan Georgiev

Kaloyan Georgiev has a Bachelor degree in "Automation, Informational and Control Systems and Robotics" and master degree in "Control Systems" from Technical University of Sofia. He has passed several trainings in the field of Industrial Networks and Communications, SCADA and BMS software, automation and energy management system architectures. He is main lector on the topics "Programming and implementation of CodeSys based PLC", "Programming and implementation of Industrial HMI", "Systems for energy monitoring" and "Systems for Data Center monitoring" both internally for APC by Schneider Electric and externally for customers. The professional development of Kaloyan Georgiev includes IT, automation, robotics, programming, machine learning and work on different projects in the field of 3D scanning, home automation and Cloud based services. In the last years Kaloyan Georgiev is focused on the innovative concept Internet Of Things. His main feld of work is the application of IoT in the Industrial automation and collaborative machines.

Anton Puliyski

Anton Puliyski is a lawyer with 10 years of experience in the field of innovations, cyber security and aviation. The last few years have been dealing with the development of the drone society in Bulgaria. Its main objective is to foster the safe, secure and efficient integration of drones into society and airspace in aviation, legal, technological and ethical terms. Chairman of the Management Board of the 'United Drone Community Association', Founder and Chairman of the First Drone Club in Bulgaria – 'Drone Extreme' and Project Manager of 'Drone ARENA'.

Associate Professor, Dr. Lyubosvet Stoev, PhD

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Lyubosvet Stoev is a physicist and a graduate of Sofia University, the Department of Radiophysics and Electronics at the Faculty of Physics. The Faculty of Physics has been the place of most of his academic carier and professional development - as entussiast student, physicist and lab technician and PhD student in Radiophysics. Later he becames a teacher - assistant and senior assistant professor in General Physics Department. Since 2010 he went to work for the military and became a lecturer in Georgi Stoykov Rakovski National Defense College. First, he was a head assistant professor at the newly established Department of Emergency Management and later (2014) he got his tenure as Associate Professor at AirForce and AirDefense Department in the Command and Staff Faculty of the National Defense College. Now, his primary research interest is vested in autonomous an remotely controlled surveilance and interaction instruments and related technologies.

Petko Petkov

Petko Petkov is most commonly recognized as the initiator of ZaraLab - the hackerspace in Stara Zagora. He has over 10 years of professional experience in software development, head of several R&D teams, working as a system architect on multiple IoT projects for industry and building automation in the context of smart cities and Industry 4.0. He has been involved in a number of social causes in recent years, and his mission is to implement more digital solutions in the everyday life of citizens through training and practical sessions that he organizes. Petko is the initiator of TheThingsNetwork for Stara Zagora and responsible for the creation of a free LoRa network in the city.

Zdravko Nikolov

Zdravko Nikolov has graduated ETU ES college and has MSc in engineering from Technical university of Sofia. In the past he worked as system engineer and business development manager in Cisco Systems office in Bulgaria from 2000 till 2008. Then with two of his classmates and friends and VC investment company NEVEQ created 3DC – colocation data center provider. Five years later the company was acquired by TelecityGroup, the biggest player in the data center market in Europe. Later on 15 Jan 2016 Equinix, the American giant in this field, acquired TelecityGroup and until today Zdravko is managing director of the Bulgarian business. He is happily married with three beautiful children.

Last year high school student and a member of the school’s robotics club. Takes part in Summer Research Camp 2018 of the Bulgarian Mathematicians' Union. In 2016, along with her newly formed team, she participates in the ‘Robotics for Bulgaria’ festival, which closely resembles the international First LEGO League competition. In 2017, the team reaches the finals and wins first place in every category. During that same year, after applying for the ‘Young Charity’ contest of the ‘Blagotvoritel’ foundation, her new project ‘I learn…with my robot friend’ receives funding and starts a month later. Along with a team of four, in the next months they visit and help students with special educational needs with learning the school material more easily, with the help of a robot they built and programmed themselves. She plans on continuing, changing and expanding the project. Her main goal is to create an opportunity for growth and progress for children with SEN in the educational process and to help them enter the world of technologies in an easy and accessible for them way.

Having two Master’s degrees: in Finance and in EU economics Mrs. Hristova has knowledge in EU and BG legislation. She has a great experience in software domain and she is an expert in analyzing the user requirements, understanding the client’s needs, implementing legal requirements from the Directive 2011/62/ЕС of the European Parliament and testing the provided solutions. She is also responsible for the internal and external trainings.

Miroslav Gechev

Miroslav Gechev has nearly 10 years of experience in the ICT field for which he built strong presence and experience in the IT ecosystem combined with several certificates and successful projects behind his back. He’s a Bachelor in Telecommunications from the Technical University – Sofia, after which he added an Innovative Communication Technologies and Entrepreneurship Master’s Degree from the Aalborg University and an MBA from Cotrugli Business School. His career and professional development followed a consistent growth path at Telelink, starting in the company as a trainee in 2011 and going through several key positions, including working on an internal startup project. From the beginning of 2018 he is Director Strategy Development – an intrapreneurship function developing the internal startups at Telelink and the overall company strategy. In the recent years, he has his focus on innovative technologies and concepts such as IIoT and Industry 4.0 and their implementation in the real business practice. Miroslav has several publications related to IoT at prestigious international scientific conferences, as well as in the Springer's engineering journals in the United States.
