Jivko Todorov

Mayor of Stara Zagora Municipality

Jivko Todorov has worked as an expert on preparation and management of EU funded projects at Stara Zagora Municipality and Stara Zagora Administration. He was elected in 2009 as a deputy of the Bulgarian Parliament from the 27th Stara Zagora electoral district. He was a Deputy Chairman and Chairman of the Foreign Policy and Defense Committee of the Bulgarian Parliament. From 2009 to 2011 he is the head of the Permanent Delegation of the Bulgarian Parliament at the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe. On October 30th, 2011 Mr Todorov won the Mayor elections for Stara Zagora Municipality. In 2015 he was re-elected Mayor of Stara Zagora Municipality. Mr Todorov graduated Romain Rolland Language School with English and German language and EU Studies at Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski".

Martin Danovsky

Chairman of the Management Board, Fund Manager of Financial Instruments in Bulgaria

Martin Danovsky is the Chairman of the Management Board of "Fund Manager of Financial Instruments in Bulgaria" EAD from 10th November 2016. He joined the "Fund Manager of Financial Instruments in Bulgaria" EAD as Member of Management Board in 22nd October 2015. Mr. Danovsky represents a profile of a contemporary management professional with 20 years of integrated experience in business economics, marketing and institutional affairs with extended focus on EU funds, programmes and instruments. He is an economic policy advisor in the cabinet of the Deputy Prime-Minister Tomislav Donchev since 2015. He has run multinational marketing group Havas Worldwide for the Balkan’s region and has consulted a wide range of businesses from the financial and IT sector, to corporate blue-chips and Bulgarian SMEs. Martin Danovsky holds two master degrees – in Economics, Strategic planning and Marketing from University of National and World Economy, Sofia, and in technical sciences/engineering in Land Management, University of Architecture and Civil engineering.

Petko Petkov

Petko Petkov is most commonly recognized as the initiator of ZaraLab - the hackerspace in Stara Zagora. He has over 10 years of professional experience in software development, head of several R&D teams, working as a system architect on multiple IoT projects for industry and building automation in the context of smart cities and Industry 4.0. He has been involved in a number of social causes in recent years, and his mission is to implement more digital solutions in the everyday life of citizens through training and practical sessions that he organizes. Petko is the initiator of TheThingsNetwork for Stara Zagora and responsible for the creation of a free LoRa network in the city.

From the foundation in 1996 and at the momet he is a partner and manager of "Bulattars Production Company". The main activity of the company is production and trade of rose and lavender essential oils. The company has own plantations of rose and lavender and distillation facilities in the municipality of Pavel Banya. From 2017 Mr. STankovski is a member of the board of the BNAEOPC /Bulgarian National Association of Essential Oils, Perfumery and Cosmetics/.
