In August 2018 the Government has adopted 11 National programmes for the period 2018-2022, and among them the National Science Programme „Information and Communication Тechnologies for a Digital Single Market in Science, Education and Security“. In June 2018, the Minister of Education and Science Krasimir Valchev announced that the institution had enacted „Computer Modelling“ from 3th grade on at school and had allotted finances in the sphere of computer programming activities from 1st to 7th grade. The Ministry announced also that the number of classes in informatics in high school will increase, the programme for training high school students, who don’t specialise in Informatics will widen in order to acquire the professional qualification of “application developer”.
Providing contemporary information and communication technologies and implementation of innovative methods for education in kindergartens, schools and universities in the country is highly important for the accessible, qualitative and sustainable e-Education development. The National conference on e-Education for the 14th consecutive year will show the national policies in e-Education development, the opportunities and challenges in combining the traditional models with innovations and best practices for their implementation in the educational process.
Target Audience: directors, deputy directors, rectors, deputy rectors, deans, deputy deans and other experts in secondary and tertiary education, representatives of state institutions operating in the field of education.
