From May 2019 Teodora Petkova is CEO and Chairman of the Management board of UniCredit Bulbank. In September 2016 she became a member of the Management Board and Chief Risk Officer at Unicredit Bulbank in Sofia. She is the Chairing head of the Credit Council of Unicredit Bulbank, of the Provisioning and Restructuring Committee, and a member of the Credit Committee. She started her career in the Bank as a credit analyst in 2002 and became senior manager of the corporate credit team in 2007, leading the post-merger integration and implementation of the best practices in credit underwriting operations for the three local banks that were merged into UniCredit Bulbank. In the period 2009-2015, Teodora was Head of the Credit Risk Department of the Bank. Then she gained cross-divisional business experience as Head of International Center in the Corporate and Investment Banking Division, managing the relationship with the international and multinational corporates, having Bulgarian establishments. She is part of the Supervisory Board of UniCredit Consumer Financing EAD and UniCredit Leasing EAD has years of experience as part of the Board of Directors of UniCredit Factoring EAD. She is member of the Executive Board of the Association of Banks in Bulgaria (ABB) and she is in the Board of Directors of BORICA - Bank Services. Teodora Pеtkova holds a Master’s Degree in Finance from the University of National and World Economy in Bulgaria. She also has a Global Executive MBA from Carlson Business School of the University of Minnesota and from the Vienna University of Economics and Business.

Annee Bayeux is the Chief Learning Strategist at EdCast where she leads the Learning eXperience Center.  The LXC is a center of excellence that focuses on people and learner engagement throughout the employee lifecycle. Annee is an international HR professional with more than 20 years experience in HR Digital Transformation, M&A and Learning and Development at three corporate universities and two centers of expertise. Tim Kurth

Executive Director and Vice-President, AURUBIS BULGARIA

Tim Kurth was born on July 8th, 1967 in Bremen, Germany. He is a specialist in logistics from the University of Applied Sciences in Friedberg, Germany. He started his career in Unilever (1990-2001) where as Director Export he gained experience in business planning, purchasing, accounting and customer service. His career growth continued in "Numico" and until 2004 he held the position Division Manager Logistics for the brands Milupa and Pulmoll, mainly dealing with planning and providing of raw materials for the company's activity. He lived and worked in Opole (Poland) from 2004 to 2006 where he held the position Manager Supply chain. During the same year he had started work in NA Cumerio (the former name of Aurubis) and until July 2014 he held the position Vice-President Corporate Logistics. In the period 2009-2013 he is also took the corporate function Manager Innovations in the concern, responsible for variety of activities, including important projects in Bulgaria. As of August 1st, 2014 he held the position Executive Director and Vice-President of Aurubis Bulgaria. Since 2015 he is the President of German & Bulgarian Chamber of Industry and Commerce.

Nikolai Nedelchev

Nikolai Nedelchev was born in Plovdiv in 1966. He has graduated his secondary education in the English Language School in his hometown. Nikolai holds a master degree in International Relations from the University of National and World Economy in Sofia. He started his professional career in 1992 as a Marketing Communications Manager in BBS the representative office of Apple Computer in Bulgaria. In 1995 he set his feet on the entrepreneurship path founding the advertising agency M.A.R.C. with the vision to provide integrated marketing communications. Currently he is the CEO of Publicis Groupe Bulgaria – the largest marketing communications company on the Bulgarian market.

Alexander Dimitrov

Alexander Dimitrov has more than 18 years of experience in the telecommunications sector. He took on his current role on October 1, 2015. Prior to joining the A1 team he has been Chief Commercial Officer at Vivacom since 2008. Earlier, he was Commercial Director (2001 – 2006) and CEO (2006-2008) of Germanos Telecom Bulgaria. Neville Pritchard

Evelina Atanassova

Assistant professor of Business Administration, Human Resources and Organizational Leadership at Brandman University

Dr. Evelina Atanassova is an Assistant professor of Business Administration, Human Resources and Organizational Leadership at Brandman University in Irvine, California. She has also had extensive teaching experience at HEC Paris (Ecole des Hautes Etudes Commerciales) and the Mihaylo College of Business and Economics at California State University, Fullerton. Dr. Atanassova’s research interests include organization management and organization behavior theories. She is currently investigating social networking strategies as a response to professional demands and individual goals, as well as social network configurations. Her research has been presented at major academic conferences, such as The Academy of Management and the European Group for Organization Studies. Earlier in her career, Dr. Atanassova gained operational leadership experience in Human Resource Management as an HR Manager at Vivacom, a Bulgarian telecommunications company. In that capacity, she was responsible for developing and implementing large-scale strategic initiatives spanning diverse HR disciplines, including job evaluation and grading, performance appraisal, organizational restructuring, competency models and leadership development.

Sabrina Dick

HR Director Central and Eastern Europe, SAP

Sabrina Dick is the HR Director for Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) and together with her team she supports 16 countries and 5,000+ employees from an HR perspective. She is responsible for defining and
executing the HR strategy in the Market Unit and is a member of the CEE Management Team.
Prior to taking over this role, Sabrina has held several positions at SAP both in Business as well as HR functions in the past 10+ years. She holds a degree in International Business and Intercultural Studies from Heilbronn University (Diplom-Betriebswirtin (FH)) in Germany. Identifying potential in individuals and helping them grow is one of Sabrina’s biggest passions. She strongly believes in the power of diversity and therefore loves working at an international company like SAP. Making processes more efficient to enable the business to take faster and better decisions is what drives her day in and day out. Kathrin Haag

Kathrin Haag is the Head of HR for the Region Middle and Eastern Europe (MEE). She holds a dual role as the Regional HR Business Partner for the President of the sales organization across Germany, Switzerland, CEE and CIS as well as has full responsibility for defining and executing the HR strategy for this geography. Prior to taking over this position, Kathrin ran her own consulting business as ad-interim HR Manager, trainer and coach. Before that she acted as HR Director for Switzerland at The Boston Consulting Group. Kathrin holds a degree in Psychology from University of Heidelberg (Germany) and University of Oxford (UK). Kathrin’s vision is to build diverse organizations that provide an environment where everybody can be him or herself as this approach, she believes, helps SAP strive for greatness. Krasse Gueorgiev

Ultrarunner, Adventurer, Coach, Co-founder of Chair UP

Krasse Gueorguiev is the first Bulgarian who participated and successfully finished one of the World’s hardest running competitions – "The Badwater Race" in the Death Valley with a 216 km long track and asphalt heated up to 90 degrees Celsius. He has done over 60 marathons (42 km) and more than 30 ultramarathons (over 100 km) in places from the Arctic to Cambodia, from the Sahara desert (the legendary 240 km Marathon of the Sands) to the Brazilian jungle (257 km). Krasse started to run at the age of 30 when he was an overweight smoker with an extremely unhealthy lifestyle. However, he quickly discovered that running is his sport. Starting with walks in the park, he gradually got engaged in running and started to run longer and longer distances. He progressed to ultra-long disciplines, which very few people in the world succeed at. In January and September this year, Krasse achieved success at two more amazing challenges. In January he ran for 36 hours run on a treadmill in a trade center in Sofia in order to raise funds for children with oncohematological diseases’ sports camps. In September he did the same thing, but the hours were 55, the place was Plovdiv and the running was outdoors.

Maria Atanasova

Human Capital Business Partner, Developer Tooling at Progress

Maria Atanasova has been part of the HR team at Progress (Telerik back then) since 2010 with a dynamic career path following the growth of the company. After Progress acquired Telerik in 2014, Maria took the role of a Global Human Capital Business Partner for the entire Progress engineering group (about 800 people). Today, Maria is a Director of Human Capital for the whole EMEA region, responsible for the overall employee experience and HR development in three major offices (Bulgaria, UK and the Netherlands). She is also acting as a strategic business partner for the Developer Tooling business unit at Progress. Maria has extensive experience in the full spectrum of HR management, as well as in leading the research, assessment and development of key global company initiatives such as Progress employer branding, global talent acquisition philosophy and candidate experience journey. Maria has Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the American University in Bulgaria, a diploma in Human Resource Management from CIPD, and has recently completed an HCI Strategic HR Business Partner certification. The recipe for success she follows in any HR initiative or program is: "Business driven, employee validated." She believes that working with software engineers has taught her to always look for the better solution, to be brave and to experiment.

Dimitrina Sivkova

Physiotherapist, Chair UP

Dimitrina is a physiotherapist and founder of "Fina Style" (2002) – a center for massage and physiotherapy. She’s a member of the Management Board of the Bulgarian Association of Physiotherapists, as well as an instructor of Rocktape (the biggest brand for kinesiological tape). Dimitrina has been working for more than 18 years in the field of massages and physiotherapy techniques related to sports and the sedentary lifestyle of office workers. She first became interested in these issues in 2006 when "Fina Style" opened a branch office in a large business building and started working with one of the telecoms in the country. Since then she has been searching for and testing the possibilities for reducing the negative effects of sedentary lifestyle through kinesiotherapy and physiotherapy practices. She works with active athletes and has participated in a number of sporting events and extreme challenges as a personal physiotherapist. She is the physiotherapist of the ultrarunner Krasse Gueorguiev, who ran 36 hours for charity in January this year and another 55 hours in September.

Eva has been working in the outsourcing business for more than 14 years in different HR roles in Bulgaria, Czech Republic, and Malta. She joined Ingram Micro GBS in 2012 as HR Director, located in Sofia, Bulgaria. She built an efficient talent acquisition process from scratch, to grow and sustain an organization of 1000+ associates in Bulgaria. Implementing ‘Hire Great’, has put the talent acquisition team as best-in-class within Ingram Micro. Katerina Shopova

Her employment career begins at Coca-Cola Helenic Bottling Company where she supports the administrative team of the Human Resources department. Two years later she is part of the British American Tobacco team, where throughout the years she had occupied a number of positions which enabled her to pass through all levels of human resource management and people interactions. During her time in British American Tobacco she actively participated in the challenging process of transforming the business model and establishing a new organizational structure in Bulgaria. In addition, Mrs. Shopova has successfully led a number of projects related to corporate culture and change management, as well as emphasizing on establishing a sustainable and competitive process for hiring high-profile employees and talent management programs in the organization. She continues her career at Kamenitsa AD, where she is part of the leadership team responsible for the construction and implementation of the new cluster structure of the company, including the Bulgarian and Romanian markets. In the beginning of 2018, she became part of the Lidl Bulgaria team as a Procurator and Human Resources Director. 

Ulrich Heppe

CEO Fraport Bulgaria Varna Airport and Burgas Airport

Ulrich Heppe has more than 18 years of experience in the airport and financial services industry.
Since September 2015, he has held the position of CEO of Fraport Bulgaria, the operator of Fraport’s Black Sea airports in Varna (VAR) and Burgas (BOJ) in Bulgaria. Ulrich joined Fraport in 2007, where he occupied various positions including interim CFO at King Khaled International Airport (KKIA) in Riyadh in 2012 as a member of Fraport’s management contract team in Saudi Arabia. From 2013 to 2015, he was appointed CEO of Fraport AG’s Senegalese subsidiary Daport SA. Ulrich started his career as a financial analyst at Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein Investment Bank in Frankfurt in 2001, also taking on the responsibility of vice president for Avenue Capital, a London-based private equity group. Born in 1971, Ulrich Heppe graduated from the University of Bayreuth, Germany, where he studied law and business administration.

Rene Tomova

RENE TOMOVA is a co-founder of the design thinking agency Creative Shower and is leading the Design Thinking Lab at Eleven Ventures. She has an MBA/MIM degree from Weatherhead School of Management and The Thunderbird School of International Management in the USA. Creative Shower is a design thinking agency that helps companies move forward by transforming people, processes, products and services for better business results. The main purpose of Creative Shower is to be able to capture the insights of company’s customers and employees and turn them into actionable innovations and value added services and products. Rene has been a marketing, business and retail director at Mtel since 2002 till 2012 and was responsible for major strategic and tactical decisions in the company, establishing CRM capabilities and leading the retail division’s customer experience efforts. She has been known for her unorthodox approaches and innovation practices. For the last five years Rene has been working with startups and companies helping them tackle their innovation challenges. Her last project is about an innovative way of learning through analogies and accelerating the knowledge of successful Bulgarians – the masterclass series Moving Forward by Design.

George Partsakoulakis

Director People and Culture, PMI EU Southeast Cluster

George Partsakoulakis is Director People and Culture at PMI for the EU Southeast Cluster. He is responsible for the management of the HR teams in PMI Bulgaria, Greece, Romania, Croatia and Slovenia. Driven by his passion on people and organizational development, Partsakoulakis joined PMI in 2013. He started in the Operating center in Lausanne, where he was working on Management and Organizational Development, supporting EU markets in performance management, talent development and learning and in parallel driving important projects, including integration of acquired companies, development of organizational KPIs and designing HR tools to support commercialization of Reduced Risk Products. Alexandrina Dimitrova

Alexandrina Dimitrova is Executive Director of The Cedar Foundation – a Bulgarian NGO with over 13 years of experience in deinstitutionalization and provision of quality social services to disadvantaged groups. Alexandrina leads a team of 100 employees and is responsible for the sustainable development of the organization, its advocacy activities, and diversified fundraising from corporate and individual donors.
