13th Annual Conference Government Meets the Business
- Sofia Hotel Balkan
The event
The annual Government Meets the Business conference traditionally follows the pulse of the important processes in Europe and Bulgaria and presents the priorities of the government for the forthcoming year.
In January 2019, the forum will be dedicated to Bulgaria's Path to the Eurozone, its effects on the economy. The government's decision to take this step is historic and among the most positive news about the Bulgarian business environment in recent years. Bulgaria's entry into the monetary union will have serious political consequences and will place our country in the innermost circle of the European Union.
The conference program will present the important reforms and commitments that the government should make to ensure Bulgaria's admission to ERM2 and its subsequent integration into the monetary Union, as well as the specific steps to prepare businesses for a smooth transition.
Participants will hear specific deadlines and will be able to ask questions to decision-makers as well as analysts who have deep insights about the experience of other European countries.
Event participants will receive a report with specific data and analysis on the effects for the economy and business: prices, assets, consumption trends, labor market, the experience of Slovakia and the Baltic States, created by the Center for European Policy Studies (CEPS) in Brussels.
When and where: January 29, 2019, Sofia Hotel Balkan
Deadline for registration: January 25, 2019
Registration Fee: 704 BGN VAT incl.
Working languages for the conference are Bulgarian and English. Simultaneous translation will be provided for the full duration of the event.
